1. Arrival by private transport 

a.  from the right-bank of the river Rhine via the motorway A46 (from  the A1 via Wuppertal or A3 via Hildener Kreuz):Exit Düsseldorf-Bilk / Düsseldorf-Hafen via Münchner Strasse (L293). Keep to the right-hand lane for around 1.4 km (0.9 miles). Directly before reaching the traffic-lights turn sharp right into a side-street (Merowingerstrasse). After ca. 200 m take the first exit out of the roundabout into the Ulenbergstrasse. After crossing the bridge take the first right turn (ca. 50 m) into the Ubierstrasse. Instand is located on the left-hand side between the timber merchant and the Hotel Astra. 

b. From the left-bank of the Rhine via the motorway A 46 (from Neuss, Mönchengladbach, The Netherlands, Belgium):Exit Düsseldorf-Bilk / Düsseldorf-Hafen via Münchener Strasse and proceed as in (a) above. 

2. Arrival by public transport

a. From Messe Düsseldorf (Exhibition / Trade-Fair):Take Tram U78 from the north-exit or Trams U78 or U79 from Messe-Ost / Stockumer Kirchstrasse from the east-exit. From the south-exit take bus 722 to Stockumer Kirchstrasse and transfer to the U78 or U79 – direction Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Hbf). Get off at Heinrich-Heine Allee (Altstadt) and take the escalators at the exit “Flingerstrasse / Altstadt” [directly before the department store “Carsch-Haus”] and go straight on where you reach the tram stop in about 25 m. Take the tram 712 – direction Volmerswerth and get off at Aachener Platz. Cross the road and take the Ulenbergstrasse for ca. 200 m before turning left into the Ubierstrasse (Sign – Trödelmarkt – Aachener Platz!). Instand is located on the left-side of the street after 80 m. 

b. From Düsseldorf Airport:Take the suburban train S 11 (Direction Bergisch-Gladbach), get off at Düsseldorf-Bilk-S and transfer to the tram 712 (Direction Volmerswerth). Get off at Aachener Platz and proceed as in (a) above. 

c. From the main station (Düsseldorf Hbf):Leave the station building via the Konrad-Adenauer-Platz exit. Take the suburban train S 8 (Direction Mönchengladbach), the suburban train S 11 (Direction Bergisch-Gladbach) or the suburban train S 28 (Direction Kaarster See), and get off at Düsseldorf-Bilk-S and transfer to the tram 712 (Direction Volmerswerth). Get off at Aachener Platz and proceed as in (a) above.
