INSTAND Promoting Prize 2010 / INSTAND Postgraduate Prize 2010

INSTAND e.V. (Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Qualitätssicherung in medizinischen Laboratorien e.V. [vormals Hämometerprüfstelle]) awards a prize every two years to support and promote quality assurance and improvement in analytical methods in the fields of clinical chemistry, haematology, hemostaseology, immunology, microbiology, virology and parasitology. The prize is valued at € 5,000.00.Those eligible are natural scientists and physicians who have not yet reached the age of 40.Manuscripts can be submitted in either German or English. If publications are submitted, they should not be older than 12 months at the time of submission.

There is a second prize for dissertations and theses (INSTAND Postgraduate Prize), which is presented at the same time. This is designed to support up and coming scientists working in the field of quality assurance or quality management in the medical diagnostic laboratory. This prize is valued at € 1,500.00.
